The current academic structure of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, consisting of 4 professors, 7 associate professors, 1 assistant professor, 1 lecturer and 1 research assistant, has been conducting undergraduate and graduate programmes since 2008. The department carries out master's and doctoral programmes with thesis/non-thesis in the field of curriculum and instruction and teaches related courses in the undergraduate programmes of the faculty. At the same time, within the scope of Pedagogical Formation Education, education services are provided to both domestic and foreign students.
By using all the possibilities of modern education in our department, our students are provided with education at a level to compete with other universities in the national and international arena. With the support of its deep-rooted history and strong academic staff, our department is one of the rare programmes that trains curriculum development specialists, academicians and scientists in education and continues its academic activities at national and international level with scientific researches and projects. In addition, graduates of our department show great interest in our graduate programmes to pursue a career within the Ministry of National Education. In this context, our graduates are employed both in the public and private sectors, especially in universities.
